Statement:
This photographic work is part of the Mexican Landscape tradition. This work intends to reinterpret a living space that has an ongoing development, such as Mexico City, a city that has had an excessive, involuntary and chaotic growth, which has created a unique landscape due to its urban and topographic characteristics. Pablo López photographs form the outskirts of the city, rescuing the human essence in the desolate sites, focusing in portraying the direct relationship between men and their environment. |
